How to deal with the ground of cold storage after freezing, and how to prevent freezing?

Freezing on the ground of cold storage is a common problem in operation. Freezing on the ground is not only easy to cause people to slip, and cargo handling is blocked, which has safety risks, but also may damage the ground insulation layer, increase refrigeration energy consumption and even damage the ground structure. Therefore, the problem of icing should be dealt with scientifically in time and prevented in advance.

In the aspect of icing treatment, it is necessary to choose the appropriate way according to the thickness of ice layer and the type of cold storage, and it is necessary to ensure the safety of personnel. If the ice layer is thin, the non-essential operation can be suspended first, and the cold storage door can be closed to maintain the low temperature, so as to prevent the water vapor from freezing again after the ice layer melts. Then, use a special deicing shovel for cold storage to slowly remove it along the edge of the ice layer. During the removal process, it is necessary to lay anti-skid pads on the ground, and the operators should wear anti-skid shoes. If the ice layer is thick and the efficiency of manual removal is low, a special deicing agent for low temperature environment can be used, which is mixed with crushed ice in a ratio of 1:10 and laid on the surface of the ice layer, and then the ice layer is allowed to stand for 15-20 minutes, and then it is cleaned with a deicing shovel. After cleaning, it is necessary to wipe the residual deicer on the ground with a dry rag to prevent it from corroding the ground materials. It should be noted that hot water should not be used to melt ice. High-temperature hot water will lead to a sudden rise in the ground temperature, which will cause the insulation layer to bulge and the ground to crack. At the same time, the water vapor generated by the evaporation of hot water will aggravate the humidity in the cold storage and lead to rapid freezing again.

How to deal with the ground of cold storage after freezing, and how to prevent freezing?

To prevent ground icing, it is necessary to reduce water entry and retention at the root. Firstly, control the humidity of the goods in storage. For the goods with water, such as fruits, vegetables and meat, it is necessary to drain the surface moisture in the pre-cooling room before transferring to the cold storage to prevent the water droplets produced by the thawing of the goods from falling to the ground. Secondly, pay attention to the design and use of the warehouse door, install air curtain machine and thermal insulation curtain at the warehouse door to reduce the entry of hot and humid air from outside, and at the same time require the operator to shorten the opening time to avoid condensation caused by temperature fluctuation in the warehouse due to frequent opening of the door; In addition, anti-skid and moisture-proof floor materials are selected, and low-temperature resistant epoxy self-leveling floor or polyurethane insulation floor can be used for new cold storage. This kind of material has smooth surface and strong thermal insulation, which can reduce condensation and icing caused by low ground temperature. Moreover, the drainage system of the cold storage should be maintained regularly to ensure that the drainage ditch in the warehouse is unblocked, and the residual condensed water or melted ice water on the ground should be discharged in time to avoid freezing of accumulated water.

It is necessary to establish a daily inspection system, and check whether there are signs of freezing on the ground of the cold storage every day, paying special attention to areas that are prone to water accumulation, such as near the warehouse door and the corner where goods are stacked. If a small amount of moisture is found on the ground, clean it with a dry mop in time to eliminate the hidden danger of icing in the bud, which can not only ensure the safety of operation, but also reduce the equipment loss and energy consumption increase caused by icing.
