When the high-temperature gaseous refrigerant enters the coil of the condenser, the cooling fan outside the equipment will accelerate the air flow, or contact with the coil through water cooling. At this time, the refrigerant will release heat under pressure and gradually condense from the gaseous state to the liquid state with medium temperature and high pressure. In this process, the condenser transfers the heat absorbed by the refrigerant from the evaporator (such as the heat in the refrigerator and air-conditioned room) to the external environment through heat exchange, thus completing the core step of heat transfer.
In addition to heat exchange, condenser also has a direct impact on the operating efficiency of refrigeration system. If the cooling effect of the condenser is not good, such as dust blocking the heat sink, fan failure or insufficient cooling water, the refrigerant will not be fully condensed, which will increase the pressure in the system. This will not only increase the compressor load and power consumption, but also cause compressor overheating protection and even shorten the service life of the equipment. Therefore, a good condenser design can improve the heat exchange efficiency and make the refrigeration equipment reach the set temperature in a more energy-saving state.
