Requirements

Our client needed to build explosion-proof battery cold storage in three separate cities (Shenzhen, Zhengzhou, and Taiyuan) to store batteries, and they turned to Haocool Design team for the most competitive solution.

Project overview

The explosion-proof cold storage features flooring made with an SBS waterproof layer, XPS board, PE layer, reinforced concrete layer, and an anti-static floor to meet the explosion-proof and temperature-controlled requirements. The Shenzhen facility spans over 600㎡, divided into three rooms, each with an area of 200㎡ and a height of 6m. The Zhengzhou facility covers 1375㎡ with the same height, while the Taiyuan facility is 446㎡ with a height of 3m. The temperature range for all facilities was set at 10~15℃.

Box type refrigeration compressor units were used for the project, offering higher cooling capacity and lower prices with added safety features. Each room is equipped with a highly efficient air cooler with low noise and a long wind path, making them ideal for cooling batteries.
